If you happen to be on the Rails to Trails walking path in Sterling, take notice of the new roof shingles  on the Sterling Depot building, installed by Dick Glessner, Jim Bischoff, Josh Bischoff and other members of the community who volunteered their time to complete the project.  This group also painted the depot, giving new life to the old building.  Thank you  to all who participated in this project!

 God Bless America!
Flagpole erected 5.11.15 by Mel Wacker Signs
Donated by the Rauschenberg family in memory of  Doug Rauschenberg.  Doug was drafted into the Marine Corp in 1966 during the Vietnam War at the age of 19.  He and his officer were killed instantly while driving over a land mine after only one week of service in Vietnam.  Doug was the first casualty of war from Wayne County.  We ask you to remember the sacrifices made by all American service men and women and their families.  Thank you Rauschenburg Family for this wonderful addition to our park.

New items have been purchased for the Sterling School Park.  Picnic tables, benches, charcoal grill, volleyball net and newly installed water line providing water from the City of
Rittman. Stop by if you haven't been to the park lately!  The parking area has also been increased and chip & seal was recently applied.
